Minitool jigsaw blade clamp modification
Minitool clamp screw modification: 2010-09-28
Lumix DMC-FT1
The Minitool jigsaw after modifying the clamping screw arrangement. Originally, there was a single screw, but the hole for it had been drilled slightly into the opposite side of the arbour. When the screw was tightened, the blades deformed against this uneven surface and they could easily be over-stressed. Changing to 2 screws allows balanced clamping.
