masking outside of starboard door glazing

masking outside of starboard door glazing: 2022-10-31 Panasonic DMC-FT1

Polyethylene sheet attached to the outer face of the Perspex, taped down around its edges flush to the edge of the glazing. The wide green masking tape was applied to overshoot slightly beyond the edge then trimmed back flush with a scalpel. This is to ensure that no Redux or sticky fingerprints can get onto any art of the outer surface of the Perspex. The trial fittings of the Perspex to check the edge trimming showed that it's difficult to handle the glazing and get it correctly positioned without accidentally touching areas that should not be bonded.
