starboard door lower gas strut ball fitting: 2021-08-14 Panasonic DMC-FT1
The lower ball fitting for the starboard door gas strut in position. Although the manual does not call for it, I tapped the hole and put epoxy on the threads to help ensure that it could not come loose.

The inner end of the lower ball fitting for the starboard door gas strut. As there is only enough thread length for a half-nut, I put epoxy on the threads to help ensure that it could not come loose.
