trial assembly of foam blocks on seat: 2023-05-18 Panasonic DMC-FT1
This is an early attempt to determine a satisfactory combination of various types of foam for seating height and comfort. I wanted to get my head as high as possible while keeping the top of my headset clear of the door Perspex. I also needed to get my feet far enough forward to reach the rudder pedals. Not visible here are 2 off 50mm layers of Temper Foam underneath the creamy-white memory foam. The block of reconstituted foam was added in front of the memory foam against the backrest because the memory foam alone was too soft.
