slotting rudder cable guides: 2013-06-26
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1
Machining the slot in the SRBF guides for the rudder cables. The milling cutter is a 3mm ball-ended type. The 2 guides are clamped together in the milling vise, and underneath is a sacrificial aluminium spacer to allow drilling the fixing holes right through without damage to the vise.
