starboard cowl hatch hinge riveted: 2023-09-28 Panasonic DC-TZ90
The starboard hatch on the cowl with the hinge riveted and bonded. The cleco clamp at the latch position helps to ensure good alignment of the hatch with the recess in the cowl. The black duct tape pieces are holding small pieces of polyethylene sheet between hatch and cowl at the ends of the hinge, to ensure no unwanted bonding occurs if any epoxy seeps out from the hinge.
